Description

The Central Bank Building is one of the most renowned historic buildings in downtown Cairo. Its construction dates back to 1911. It occupies an area of 1330 m on five floors. It is considered one of the most beautiful and oldest buildings in downtown. Neoclassical style with unique architecture details that appear on the building façade and its decorations blended with European architecture as well. TEC-MERGE was assigned the restoration and rehabilitation of the facades in the first phase, and then assigned the interior development and restoration of the building in the second phase. The scope of work in this project included civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical works (elevators - air conditioners - fire alarm - firefighting).
