In line with the Egyptian government’s Sustainable
Energy Strategy 2035 that aims to produce 20% of
electricity from renewable sources by 2022, Benban
Solar Park in Aswan Governorate was established with a
total capacity of 1650 MW on an area of 37.2 km2 which
is subdivided into 41 separate plots arranged in 4 rows.
Each plot average area is 1 km2.
TEC-MERGE has been
one of the first companies who started working and
delivered the construction of 50MW PV Solar Plant in
Benban Solar Park, Aswan with the highest quality
standards and production performance abiding to the
maximum HSE regulations. After the successful
completion and delivery of the first plot, and due to the
trust that the company has built, TEC-MERGE has been
awarded further work in Benban with a total capacity of
150MW including civil, mechanical, electrical work.
TEC-MERGE considers this project as one of its flagship
projects significantly contributing to the delivery and
operations of the World’s Largest Solar Park and dealing
with the most prominent contractors and developers in
the world.
