Description

The Egyptian Post Authority Building is located in Attaba, Downtown Cairo. It is one of the national historic landmarks in the Egyptian history. The building is considered one of the most prominent buildings in Egypt since its construction in 1886. It includes treasures and rare collectibles that are more than 150 years old, which narrate the history of the Egyptian Post. TEC-MERGE was awarded the restoration and rehabilitation of the Egyptian Post Authority Building in two successive phases including the administrative part of the building and the entire museum. The scope of work includes structural and architectural works, electrical and light current works, mechanical and fire-fighting works, restoration and renovation works, as well as furnishing the entire building and museum according to the historic architecture standards.
