Description

Princess Fawqeya Palace is one of the most prominent historical buildings. Princess Fawqeya is the daughter of King Fouad I and the sister of King Farouk, who inaugurated the palace in 1947 as the headquarters of the Egyptian State Council. The Palace of Princess Fawqeya is located in Dokki area, Giza and it overlooks the Nile Corniche, remained the headquarters of the State Council, until the current State Council headquarters was built in 1994, adjacent to the palace. This palace is considered an architectural masterpiece, as it carries the fragrance of the Egyptian history and contains the belongings of the Muhammad Ali family. TEC-MERGE was assigned the restoration and rehabilitation of the facades as well as the renovation of the external decorations according to the historic architecture standards.
