Cairo University Heritage Library

Description

The Cairo University Heritage Library was established at the university campus behind Faculty of Arts in the form of an independent building of an architectural style in tune with the rest of the university buildings. This building was completed in April 1931 and it represents academic heritage in terms of architectural heritage and the number of unique and rare collectibles. TEC-MERGE was assigned the development, restoration and rehabilitation of this heritage building. The scope of works included constructing works, architectural works, restoration and renovation works, electrical works, and mechanical works (electric networks, alarming system, fire control system, international information network).
